A prime example of this collaborative effort is Mayte Carracedo's participation in the 8th Forum of Advanced Technologies held in Niš, Serbia, on June 12, 2024. Mayte, representing FundingBox, delivered a presentation titled "How Companies Can Access Cutting-Edge Technologies from EU Projects."

Mayte Carracedo's Presentation

She specifically highlighted the Cascade Funding method, a simpler approach to applying for EU funds through Open Calls. These Open Calls were specifically chosen to be accessible to Serbian SMEs, making it easier for them to compete for funding and resources. Additionally, Mayte presented a tool that makes the whole process smoother - OnePass - funding and training gateway for European innovators, SMEs, StartUps and ScaleUps.
